我们用于旋蒸的双唇密封圈，其特点是，材质除保留原聚四氟乙烯耐腐蚀性能外，加了一些高性能材料，更加耐磨，更加耐高温，由于是双唇的，因此密封性能更加好。我们做过试验：重13.703g。在真空度处于-0.07到-0.085之间，转速350rpm条件下，连续运行264小时后，重13.689g，轻了0.014g.（还含了一个止转销孔减少的重量），如果以磨损5g做为报废，则以连续运转94000小时，约3900天，合10.7年。旋蒸转速约为60转左右，所以理论上可以仪器终身不换。
